Char Siew @ Tian Hong, Salak South, Kuala Lumpur

Char Siew has somewhat become an obsession for me now, quite a bit that I actually drove to Salak South in order to search for some good Char Siew. I brought my friend who also particularly loves a good serving of Char Siew.
Tian Hong was one of the popular places for Char Siew according to other food bloggers(eatinout) and was also featured in The Star, so we had to give it a try anyway. Thanks to my GPS, we managed to make out way there. We arrived tad early; there wasn't any Char Siew yet D: However, things were on our side on that day; the first batch of Char Siew rolled out from the kitchen.
We had serving for two and a bowl of soup(self-service) as well as two ice-cold chinese tea. The taste was not particularly sweet and it was not too salty either, which is probably a good thing. Though however, the meat was tad hard; probably because we took the lean part which had little or no fat at all. It's not bad, but I preferred the one at Aman Suria. The soup served was a little too bland, which literally had no taste at all (which explains soy sauce and pepper on the table XP). Overall, it was good, but not excellent, particularly due to the texture of the meat.
