Lunch take-away...

Whats this? Char Siew Fan(BBQ pork rice) brought by my colleague who just came back from a field job. Not sure where she bought it, but the taste is awesome. Instead of the regular sweet sauce, they used the soy sauce similar to the one poured on chicken instead. The taste is really good. Can anyone tell me if you've seen something similar to this?

Luck, it could not have been even worse

Tyres, Absorbers, what? *dies of shock*

A top overhaul had to be done to my engine =_= . Why? Because apparently the engine had overheated and then indirectly expanded the gap of the leaking engine oil area(had it previously) and caused the engine oil to spew out over the whole underbody of my car. Fortunately, I made it to the workshop before and damage had been done.

The mechanic told me that it was due to a leaky connection from the radiator to the engine that caused the water to leak out, and as the radiator is empty, the engine overheats. I wouldn't know if the engine had overheated as well because my meter is still broken(yet to be replaced.)

So, a top overhaul job with replacing all the rubber seals and valves costed about RM900. Talk about tough luck; all these changes in one month...thats more than rm2000 in repairs T_T

Car Internals: The piping behind the engine block leaked water caused overheating. Rust stains all over.

Taken out: All the parts from the engine head. The fan belts had to be replaced as they were cracking and might snap.

Burst tyre, broken absorbers, whats next?

...and this time, its the exhaust.

Yup, it's been making alot of noise(literally) and upon closer inspection, it has holes and inside the exhaust is empty(fibre burnt out).

I decided to change my exhaust. This time it costs me RM450. It's kind of expensive to me, but hey, it'll save me from permanent ear damage xD

Before: Straight Flow Muffler, empty on the inside.

After: S-Flow type of exhaust. Filled with fibre.

Lunch @ Ah Sang Bak Kut Teh, Petaling Jaya

Friday is the day that we have 2 hours lunch break for work. So one of my colleagues decided to have BKT. The place that we'll be visiting is Ah Sang Bak Kut Teh. Located beside the Indian Temple near the LDP highway, Ah Sang BKT is small shoplot hidden from view. My colleague preferred this place to the SS14 BKT as she commented that the BKT there might be a little salty compared to Ah Sang BKT.

Located only about 10minutes from our office, we left at 12pm. Upon arrival, I was surprised that there were so many people queuing outside the shop. My colleague told me that we'd have to book before coming by as it is just that crowded. I've never had BKT where you'd have to book a table beforehand. Surely this shop is very very popular indeed.

We ordered BKT with different parts of pork, golden mushrooms, foo-chook (bean curd skin), taufu-pok and black mushrooms. We also had Pork Liver with Rice Wine and 'Yau Char Kwai'.

A meal of 4 with pot of tea with ice cost us about RM45. Not too bad of value and the food is indeed delicious. A definite stop for you guys that love BKT.
